Greeting from new member
It's got Night Train risers and bars on it, and the grips that come on the Cross Bones. I felt like it was destiny when I saw that because those were two changes I was planning on doing as soon as I could. It also has a Badlander seat, passenger pegs, and forward controls.
I got it out on the highway, up to 85, and all I can say is that I'm going to LOVE touring on this bike. It's as smooth as silk.
I'm having a hell of a time getting the sidestand down, and am putting it down by hand. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
I'm not going to be modifying it much right now, as I have to replenish the savings account, but I'm glad as hell I took the plunge.
Crazy.

As for putting the stand down, give a few days. You'll find it with your foot and it will become second nature soon enough. I had a hard time the first 3 or 4 times myself and put it down my hand, I was used to my sportbike and the HD stand is MUCH further back, I just wasn't used to the reach. Now it is easy.
Post pics when you shut it off long enough, I know the feeling!
