The intake valve closing is when you start building compression, if you just drop in the TW6-6 without raising compression a 4* advance gear is recommended by a few builders,{more money} The SE204 closing at 34* is a good cam for stock compression but if you raise it much pinging "might" be a problem. It was down to the TW6-6 or 37's for me but the $228. price sold me on the 37's.

What kind of numbers are you getting ?

SOP feel is great, I haven't dynoed yet because my autotune did its job, I do plan on doing one for the numbers soon when it gets a little cooler, I don't want to do it in this heat.

I just put the 204's in mine with stock internals and no headwork. I also put the Andrews 30 tooth pulley on. It dyno'd 90 horse and 98 ft.lbs. with stage 1 aircleaner and Big Shot staggered pipes with stock baffles. Also dyno'd with the quiet baffles, horsepower/torque curve was the same but down by 5 through the powerband

They may look close but it's amazing what 2 degrees can do to change the attitude of an engine.
