Exclamation Quick question on screaming eagle heavy breather!

I just bought my first Harley (2007 Dyna Super Glide). Looks like the previous owner poured a lot of money and time with upgrades. Looks great! It has a screamin eagle heavy breather installed and although it looks O.K, I was wondering at what time should the filter be cleaned or serviced? The bike has almost 7000 miles on it and don't know when the heavy breather was installed. The bike was purchased at a dealership and I have a one year warranty on it. Any help would be appreciated.

THATS A K&N FILTER, SHOULD LAST A LIFETIME. YOU can purchase a cleaner/ re-oil kit at napa for $20, just follow the instructions.......go easy on the re-oil.

probably need to re-oil and clean every 1500-2000 miles. When the oil looks faded it's time.

I clean and re-oil mine every 1000 miles, that is about when mine starts looking faded

Mine usually needs oiled about every 1000 miles but I only clean it when it starts to look dirty.

I clean and re-charge mine with my oil changes. You don't necessarily have to do it when the oil color fades, as there is residual oil still in the filter that's doing it's job.
