Hmmm, just found this thread. Compared to the windvest website prices, I thought I was gettin a nice deal buying this for $200 shipped. I guess I still did - just have to look at it the right way. Well done bberck. If it looks as good on my bike as it did on yours, I'll be happy. I will be even happier if I can get my QD windshield sold which I, unfortunately, did pay full price ($350) for.

Goal when I picked it up was to get my money back if I didnt like it. If you figure in tax, the cost and shipping I paid for the summer shield (Summer shield was $55 shipped) and shipping and paypal fees thats about what I got.
I'm just messin with ya buddy - it's all good. Shield should be here tomorrow. The Big Brown Truck has a habit of taking his time finding my house, though. Probably won't get a chance to mount it up until Tuesday. Looking forward to seeing how it looks and works. Just a quick peek of the WV website tells me I got a good deal here. Given their prices, it's no wonder more people don't have these shields. Although, HD's shields are pretty outrageous too. Is lexan or plexiglass or whatever that stuff is laced with gold or diamond dust?

Ya they are high and thats why I had never tried one.
Was going to order 1 1/4 clamps from them since it came with 1 1/2. They wanted over $100 just for the 2 clamps so I just rubber mounted it with the 1 1/2 ones and it worked out better anyway.
