Diz why not pull off your shields... then wrap or even leave the pipes bare without any shields on them, just wrap the sections where yo may touch on accident... i think those pipes would look great with the bike then... right now they are just too.... well too... CLEAN

*either that or scuff the whole pipe... that industrial look would work well too
