Just a couple things from the last week or so. I got a nice heavy duty tool bag from Fox Creek, mounted down below the voltage regulator. I also removed the aluminum strip from the battery box and filled the holes. I bought stainless steel button head allen bolts and polished them up nice. Just gotta figure out whether or not I want to put something in its place. Also replaced the two bolts on the electrical panel cover. Awaiting funds to do the 14" gimps and cables.
I've been thinking of putting a tool kit down there myself. I had one attached to the forks/lower tree, but damn if it didn't gouge up that soft-*** aluminum they use up there, so took it off before it did any more damage.
I ordered a bobtail fender for mine today. Once I get that and the forward controls on, I'll be closer to having my Night Glide Bob Train...
I went by the stealer today to look for something to fill that spot. I liked the little skull with wings medallion but somebody else already used it and I like to innovate.
I won't tell what it is yet because it might look dumb. I'll try to have it mounted and post pics in the next couple days if it turns out OK.
How much u pay for the tool bag??? I need a knew one

Craig,
I always look forward to seeing your Bob go through mods (even if it's just slight). Looks really nice! I wish I could also put a toolbag there if I didn't have one of those canisters.

Thank you sir! I sure enjoy doing the little things that make it my own.
hd_sob, It does look like there's more of a satin sheen to it. Ain't nothing on that tank but paint and bugs though.
