Default Photo Shoot

Dragged the bike into the driveway yesterday afternoon under some much anticipated sun and a slightly warmer climate than we've been having of late, and took myself some pics of the ride.

Got em posted in my album - https://www.hdforums.com/forum/membe...-my-scoot.html

Turned out pretty good - there's another several hundred shots but I trimmed it down to the best of the best of the best.

Lots of planned stuff this winter, we'll see how much I am actually able to get completed before spring is upon us. Let me know what you think!

Unfortunately yes. I started coming down with a cold late Saturday and it was kicking my @$$ pretty good yesterday, though today is even worse. My head feels like one of those old rubber hot water bottles thats been overfilled. So riding would have been ill advised - my 1/2 helmet leaves me too exposed for the cooler temps if I am fighting off a cold.

Hopefully I can get it licked before Weds. hits a high of 70...

Thanks for the compliments I've always liked photography but until I splurged and got myself a D-SLR I never had as much control as I wanted. Now I'm just not as active as I once was so my subject matter is a bit slower, and not quite as varied as in my twenties.

I'm using a Nikon D80, a couple of these were taken with the 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 kit lense, the bulk with a Sigma 50mm f1.4, both with Tiffen circular polarizers.

The cold seems a bit less obtrusive today so hopefully my nose will stop running for Wednesday and I can enjoy a bit of the warmer weather. And actually, overall, the bike is rather dirty right now, just the major surfaces are clean...I didn't so good of a job washing it the laste couple times...
