Default Street Bob headlight extension

I did a search on this, and really didn't find what I was looking for. Im wanting to extend the headlamp out and up a bit on the 09 SB. Dont know if there is some kits for this, or if its more of fabicrating your own deal. Just some info would help. Thanks.

How far? If it is a long way, you will just have to splice in extentions.
If it is only an inch or two, you should be able to pull some slack out of the wiring in the frame.

Ya Im only wanting about two inches or so, and I already pulled the slack, just need a new mount/bracket to actually bring the light out forward.

Yeh you can buy a different mount. Not sure exactly where, though. Try drag specialties maybe. The one I have on my aftermarket light goes up and curves/angles outward a little bit vs. the straight up and down stock mount I had. It came in the box with my previous aftermarket light, though. I didn't buy it separately.

I just went through this. Google "Harley headlight mount" or look in J&P under lighting and there are a bazillion options to choose from. All kinds of funny shaped chrome little blocks to mount your headlight any way you want. I found some on eBay too.

I hear you. I almost bought the springer one myself. I don't think fitment is going to be a huge issue if you measure and know how far you want to go. All they really are are alluminum blocks with holes in them.

I used the same type of bracket I use for my tank lift. It's just stainless steel bar with two holes. I used two of them and sandwiched the the light and bracket between them. Sorry I don't have a pic. right now.
