I agree with the mickey mouse ears...

I bought one of the stereo bags, sound is ok but no bass, so music with any bass won't sound right.
I play Blues on the bike which sounds cool...

Does anyone make small speakers with decent bass?

bass frequencys do not carry in wind.... Xbox you can turn off the cross over on the amp, and get some base out of them, but the voice coils are not big enough, they are 3 way speakers so that is about as good as it will get... any bass jsut will not carry in the wind, that is why they are put in boxes for the sound to resinate... trust me i have tried it all! ha ha ha so i use amps wiht cross overs to drop out the bass so your mids and highs will SCREAM!

Can't speak for outdoor/bike speakers, but in the car audio world, Pyle is what it is. A "Pyle" of crap. lol Get with Joe on one of his setups, those things are awesome.

Joe-
I sent you a few PM's a while back about whether one of your "forkbag stereo"s" would fit behind my HD 1/4 fairing. I also sent you a couple of pics showing the space behind my handlebar mounted speedo.

We both pretty much concluded the bag was too big for the space and the only way for me to use one of your stereos was to mount the bag under the fairing in front of the lower triple tree.

Since I don't think the sound from that distance to my ears will give me the quality of sound I want, I'm thinking of going with some type of handlebar mounted speakers along side of my speedo. I know...Mickey Mouse...but at least they would be behind the fairing.

Since you have obviously researched motorcycle stereos in general, would you be able to recommend an amp and speaker system? Maybe the separate components of your system?

It doesn't appear that you have completely endorsed the Pyle system in this thread. Here is my setup as it is now. Thanks for your time.
