Just make sure that when you bleed them you only open the bleeder 1/4-1/2 turn from tight. Put a hose over the bleeder. remove the fill cap and pump until you have replace all the fluid. Close bleeder, remove hose, replace & tighten cap...done. Clean off any brake fluid because it will eat paint, powder coat & plastic. I clean it off with brakleen & then simple green & warm water.

I changed mine out at 3K when I did the mini apes and chrome controls...etc.... amazing the amount of crap that was in there, and coloration already.... Went ahead and did the rear when I saw all the crap come out of the front.

Then did them both again, when I put new cables/lines on.... about another 7K when I did those. Not quite as bad as the first flush.

I flush my brake system every season. very easy to do with the speedbleeders.

They don't seem to have speedbleeders for an 07 FXDB?

sb3824 is the part #. Both front and rear.

...and of course, when you're pumping the lever or pedal, don't let the fluid in your reservoir get to the bottom before refilling...

Sometimes the obvious ain't so obvious. Just sayin'.
