I wear snowboarding gloves for the winter. But, it gets pretty cold up here. I think the most important thing is having a glove that goes over your sleeve, keeping the cold air out of your jacket.

Amen, to that....
If your in a cold area, you might want to look at the heated gloves.
Not the battery pack, but the plug ins. Everyone I've talked to that was willing to afford them, just love them..

I like Harley's gloves... soft and not too cumbersome... to me gloves and shoes need to be tried on before purchase so I would not just order something from online. Sizes vary.

Make shure you try them on first. I have an small hand, but ended up buying a large. I like full cuff gloves with some padding in the palms and a durable leather like goatskin.

I bought the HD perforated gloves for the fall. I can wear them down to about 55 degrees. Love 'em, but they did stretch quite a bit.

I have a pair of these for cold weather http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...ar-Gloves.aspx

They are definately warm but they are thick so you loose some feel of the controls.

I use a pair of leather gloves and on colder days, I add a pair of UnderArmour thinsulate gloves under the leather gloves. Keeps my hands warm in the 20's while riding.

For cold weather (under 40) I have a pair of gauntlet style "slip streamers".... Don't know who makes them, or if they are available any more....
