Got my HD Detachable Solo Rack

Didn't even know HD put out one of these until I saw it for sale. I wouldn't have paid the $200 it lists for anyway. Got it for half that in the classifieds here. Really heavy and appears to be good quality. Finally, no more swapping to a 2-up seat and latching on the sissy bar with luggage rack just to carry a few things with me on some rides. And easy enough to take off and leave home when I don't need to carry anything. Now I have to sneak it back in the box so I can unwrap it for Christmas - LOL.

is that the same rack u can hook up the passanger seat too

No, the rigid version has that option but they don't offer it on the detachable. I assume because the rear part of the detachable rack has plastic moving parts that could get damaged from too much weight. However, the rigid rack looks just like this one. It's just not as easily removed. If I were going with a fixed mount solo rack, I'd probably go with a Motherwell unless I specifically wanted the passenger pillion option. I'm not that familiar with Motherwell - they may offer something similar.
