Default Offset Peg Mounts...???

I am looking for a set of 360 adjustable, lockable offset peg mounts for my Dyna....and I am having a bit of a time finding them to fit my HD flame pegs.

I need 4" offsets [to be used on either my mid mounts or passenger mounts] and have looked at Kuryakyn with no luck.

Kury has two types [the newest, PN 4556, is not available until Sep 06...which is exactly what I need] and the other, PN 7937 which is not compatable with my pegs.

Anyone got any leads on other suppliers for these type of peg extensions?

Thanks

Here is the 4" Kuryakyn offset...the one on the right

2BKFXDL,

I guess I'm lost just a bit. I have the H-D flame footpegs on my mids and on my passenger mounts. What are you needing the 4in offset mounts for? I'm trying to get a mental image but cant,.....

I am using the 2' offsets from kuryakan and they are great. I am not sure why they wont work with your pegs. They say they will work with male harley pegs?
They have the 4' ones as well.

I feel your pain on the wait for parts. I ordered a custom license plate frame from Kuryakyn back in March, supposed to be available "Summer 2006" After a few more e-mails, they apologized and said it would be late summer at best, and I finally gave up and cancelled the order. They were very understanding, but could not give me a real definitive date the license bracket/frame would be in.

The reason that I am needing the 4' offsets is for my wife. She is rather tall at 5'10" and can actually reach the mid mounts as an alternative to the normal passenger peg position. On longer rides her knees bother her as she finds the stock passenger peg mount position a bit cramped and restrictive. Although she can reach the mid mounts in order to stretch out a bit I figured that by setting those pegs back four inches it would give her a perfect position for a more stretched out and relaxed ride and therefore give her two comfortable riding positions.

The HD flame pegs have a short bolt if you remove the clevis but it requires a threaded sleeve [such as in the Kuryakyn stirrups] in order to mount the peg. On one end of the Kury 4" offsets is a clevis to mount to the mids and the other end is machined to accept a bolt but the sleeve containing the threads is not long enough for the short bolt on the HD flame pegs to mount.

I thought about a clevis with a threaded end to go into the offset mount but can't seem to find one.

I asked the tech at Kury and he could not give me a straight answer....

Maybe I am missing something here but I don't think so.

I did find that only 9 HD pegs will actually fit the two different Kury Iso-stirrups but stirrups is not what I am after. When I saw the Kury 4" offset it looked exactly like what I needed but the threaded end where I could attach the peg just isn't right.

This is the Kury offset I'd like to use.....the one on the right.....I see where the offset attaches to my factory mid mounts but the other end does not appear to be able to work unless I find some sort of adaptor or extension
