Hello all, just spoke to the HD dealership here in Orlando about doing the upgrade with this Part # 27541-08. It is the Screaming Eagle kit with the cam.
I got a quote for $2100. I know that there are other options out there but I would like to ask the guys that did this upgrade, if this price compares.
Any suggestions in the Central Florida area. 09 FXD, Stage1, V&H Straight Shots slip on, HD Race tuner.
Thanks

If you look around you can get much more motor for a little bit more money. If you bring it to a true engine builder ( which dealers are not ) you can get a stout 103 built with head work for not much more money. Check out http://www.cycle-rama.com/index.html they are here on the west coast in Pinellas Co.
The 103 SE builds are reliable I have put over 18,000 miles on mine with no problems. It gives me a good reliable ride. I am not racing this thing just a little more blast off the line and on the highway.
thats all i want in a 103 is just a little more. my local dealership said only 3k installed for the 103 not bad. and guarenteed over 100hp. they said the most they ever got was on a road king they got 110 hp

Guarenteed 100hp and 3k sounds like they are doing headwork, or SE heads.
