Do you have the Harley front signal relocation kit by any chance? I noticed that kinda sound on my bike and when I changed the kit to a different one that didn't mount the same way all the sudden no more noise!!!

Just a hunch never know... Donnie

DITTO.

Just take the chrome cover off and tighten that baby up. Mine did this the day I picked it up from the stealer. Hope it is something this simple.

Alot of bikes do it now that I've seen, even guys who brought their bikes in, came back same because HD says tourqe should be 35-40lbs, then I fix it by tourqeing it to 80ft-lbs.
Did mine awhile ago, no problems yet.
Think I learned it from here, one of TC's posts.

Check the mounting bolts for the tank. Expecially the front.

I had that and found it by grabbing the tank with both hands while I sat on the seat and pulling up. the dang thing could move an 1/8 of an inch.

When I would hit a bump it sounded like the motor was falling out.
