Default Clutch cable help...

Finally got my 12" Apes on. Now I'm trying to figure out the cable situation. Stock throttle cables are fine but my clutch cable is just a little short.

My question is ......Have any of you guys changed out your stock bars on a superglide to 12" and used the stock wide glide clutch cable in this application. According to the numbers off the HD website, this would give me 4 more inches of cable on the top. I think that'll be just right. But thinkin and being is 2 different animals.

I thought I'd seen a post where someone did this but can't find it.

Thanks

I have 8" mini-apes (stock WG/Bob style) with matching cables and hoses. Direct fit from WG/Bob. Then I added 3.5" risers. Still plenty of slack in the cables/hoses, no problems at all. I don't think another 0.5" would matter. It should fit.

If your changing out your clutch cable now is the time for an easy pull if you don't already have one..
