As per my usual, when I wanted to change out my plug wires to add some bling to the left side of the bike, I jumped on some SE 10mm wires in red. I like them but they kind of stand out too much I think. Now I've come across this site that sells some pretty cool braided options. Fortunately, plug wires aren't that expensive so it's not that big a deal. Anyway, before I jump the gun, again, I thought I'd solicit some opinions. Below is the left side of my bike now. Below that are some wire patterns I'm considering. I wish I could see a larger view of the chrome with red as I'm thinking maybe I'll go with that vs. all chrome braid. What do you think? (I know some of you could care less about such things. Your silence will speak for itself vs. posting pissy comments - LOL).
I have a set of the Magnum red braided wires. They are not nearly as bright as the SE ones. They are quite spendy though. I fortunately got a screaming deal from a forum member on my set. I will send you a photo if you want. http://www.magnumshielding.com/store/ignition_wires.php
you can order that sleeving from thecableorgaizer.com
i did my entire cafe wiring in including the oil lines while i was building it, all the wires including the clutch, push pull throttle, wiring under the seat, and more are all wrapped in this, really easy to do and looks great!
you can see in the sun the chrome on the oil lines on the sides really shines
Joe, sometimes I wonder if you don't give yourself enough credit for successfully doing things that others wouldn't dare touch. Resleeving wires doesn't bother me but capping the ends and doing it right with a finished look is something I'd rather pay a few bucks for. I wish I had your skills.
I thought about this some more and I decided to go with the Chrome XS version from USKoolines. They sell on ebay but apparently mark them up a bit to cover their fees (don't blame them). I ordered directly from their website.

I like the red. Truth be told, I'm just a chrome *****. There, they say admitting your addiction is the first step, right?
Will definetely post pix when I get them installed.
