Default A few mods

Just completed a few mods, powder coatd lower forks and trees, solid rear struts, 30 wt oil in forks. Later on this winter I'll get the tins painted.

It rides loke a horse buggy. Its not really as bad as I thought. I put 30 Wt oil in the front forks and it is almost as stiff.

Doesn't that beat you up on the road? I have to admit I don't understand the reason for solid struts. Is there a functional advantage?

Looks good, I like low, you need to grind about 1/4" off the tab on your kick stand that contacts the frame. This will give you a little more lean when it's parked.

Yeah its purely for looks, and if I go on a long ride its easy to slap on the shocks. On the kickstand i do need to do something it sits a little too upright. While in the garage it almost went over a couple times. I like the paint but I want something a little darker.

I like all the powdercoat, looks great. If you plan to keep the struts, you should get your forks cut down to lower the front more. (Here: http://www.frankmain.qpg.com/) You can drop your fork tubes back where they belong that way and lose the saggy bottom look you have right now. You ought to pick up one of Hogrida's license plate brackets too, that will help clean up/smooth out the rear fender quite a bit. Overall I really like the bike, just a few changes I would make, were it mine. Which it ain't! lol
