Struts are a cheap way to run a rigid frame. If you've never ridden a rigid, you wouldn't understand.

So could we get you to use you considerable writing skills to explain?

Very nice. How did you attach the bag to the battery box?

Not exactly sure what you would like me to explain. A strut is a shock replacement. No spring. No adjustments. No anything. Just a piece of solid piece of metal to mount where the shocks did.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I get what they are. I don't get the attraction to what would seem to be a vastly rougher ride though. But obviously, since a lot of folks use 'em, there is some positive. You said, " If you've never ridden a rigid, you wouldn't understand." I was asking for you to let me know from your perspective what it's like.

Please understand - I am sincerely asking. Not trying to be a ****, I just don't know what you do.

Struts don't really Have a "real" purpose. They are for slamming the bike as low as possible without Really going rigid. Some people really dig it, others feel like badasses because they ride a "hardtail". I personally don't like them, but that's not what this thread is about.

The MOCO should have kept that color. It is beautiful! I also really like the powder coating! You guys and these pictures of what you've done are gonna cost me a lot of money.

Thanks for the pics, and I didn't mean to hijack the thread.

I removed the battery box band trim piece, and that leaves four holes in the battery box cover. I just made two holes in the bag and mounted it to the box cover.
