Hey Joe , madd again!! I was reading a thread about Mike's 96 dyna you are working on and noticed you do black chrome. That was my original plan for my exhaust until I realized gloss black powder would also be nice and much more affordable.
1: Can you imagine my exhaust with it's two heat shields and tailpipe blacked out, with the center heat shield (between the header pipe and tailpipe) and slash end cap left chrome ? I think it would look awesome! JMO!!! (the one that counts I guessLOL)
2: Would it be nicer in black chrome (my original plan) or gloss black PC. From what I've read the powder is more durable than chrome and less expensive, shoot me some feedback please?
Other mods coming this winter are 11.5" prog.440 black shocks, jackyl's 2" tank lift and spacer jim's 2" black spacers
Here are the wheels I just picked up today, Black Chrome Powder. As you can see I highlighted the indintations with black paint. The pix's don't do them justice however, they came out pretty awesome..
ony problem wiht the black chrome is the heat, it may yellow on a pipe... gloss black would not and would be able to keep the same smoooooth gloss. I would be more than happy to lay it for oyu but we could not warnt the work due to the color conserns with heat. if you went black, we would stand behind that all day... just want to be honest bud!
