I went to the CBA of NC (Concerned bikers association of NC) swap meet on saturday. Almost bought a new tank for $150. it was in excellent shape. Patrick...it would match yours. Pearl white with silver graphic. Want the number?
I have never been able to find that comfort zone with regards to my forward controls. The Boot Dr. floorboards just didn't cut it. I got a set of knock off ISO pegs w/stirrups for $40. Threw them on before I went on a toy run Sunday and what a difference. I should have bought those a long time ago.
I know everyone has them. They're worth it. Definitely takes the pressure off the calf muscles. My legs haven't been that comfy in months.
Rich, there is no part number but this is basically what they look like:
Just look up Kury ISO stirrups. I saw an actual set of kury's at the swap meet for $125. There is no real difference between what I bought and what Kury has, except the price. I paid $40 for a pair of pegs with stirrups.
Vic, +1 on the stirrips. You will notice a lot more stability also.
I'm not sure on the stability part but they were definitely more comfortable than those floorboards I had. I wasn't unstable with the floorboards but I did find myself constantly trying to relocate my feet. My leg/foot position has been an ongoing issue since day one. I sometimes wonder if a +3" ext wouldn't help on the forward controls. I don't have long legs, having a 32" inseam. I should install some highway pegs but can't stand how the highway bar looks. Kind of goofy in my book.
It seems every ride I go on is a long ride with me being so far away from any real civilization.

Boy, that's a steal on that tank. Mine's still as new, though, and I have two Fat Bob tanks for custom paint experimentation. Seems like it might be pretty easy to stripe over the silver pinstriping with gold, or are your flames gold, also?
Edit: Duh! Looked at your bike pix. Maybe outline the silver flames with the same gold p/s ??? Might just fly.

I bought a set of kuryakyn switchblade stirrups a few months ago on ebay ($50) and could not agree with you more SC, what a difference over regular pegs. I've never tried floorboards due to the look but if these had not worked out that is where I was going next.
I also installed these adjustable passenger peg extensions from Kury:
My girl has long legs and the stock position of the pegs was not comfy for her. I got these for $75 at the AHDRA last month. They are completely adjustable. They rotate 360* (limited only by clearance) and where the peg mounts that also rotates 360*. It moves the peg fwd about 4" and out about 2.5". They stick out into nowhere land and look goofy as heck ut she found them comfy. I can always throw them on when we are goin to ride as our rides are planned well in advance since we have a lil girl.

Mine is Pearl white w/ gold graphics and pinstripe. It is a pretty dern good deal. The tank had one lil scratch about 1/2" long but if you installed that chrome add-on piece to the dash (like you have already) it would cover it up and never be an issue.
Ah well...looks like I ride with my badge of honor a lil longer.
I have also been undecided on what I want with the forward controls on my new wide glide. After about 500 miles of the stock pegs I installed the Harley Davidson pegs with stirrups. I have found these to be much better but still wonder how floor boards might be. I think these look much better than floor boards and for what they cost me I think I will stick with them. These are a part of the chrome and rubber collection so I think I will finish off with the grips, brake pad and shift lever.
