Long story short.
Brand new pipes/rode less than 100miles.
Now i see there is some scuff marks in my exhaust. I tried to recollect how this stuff happened but not sure
I'm kinda losing my sleep over it
This is not scratch or anything and I cant even see it from a foot or 2.When i touch that area it feels rough.
is there some kind of polish some removal thing which I can apply and get rid of it or should I have to live with it
Goo gone works well on most things, just have to rub till your arm falls off.

Use easy off oven cleaner. Mask off everything around the pipes so you dont get it anywhere else, spray it on and let it sit for a few hours, wipe it off with a sponge. Ive removed melted plastic shopping bags, melted microfiber towels, etc. off this way without scratching the chrome.
Maybe it's melted boot? I used a little soft scrub and a dish sponge with the light scour pad. Use when pipe is cold. Should come off without a problem and not mar the chrome.
had my rain suit melt onto my pipes used amonia based glass cleaner a rag and alot of elbow grease, came off fine but i think the 000 steel wool and chrome polish would be alot easier

+1.on that it works just heat them up a little before you apply it.
0000 steel wool and Mothers Chrome Polish should fix your problem. Just be sure to keep the steel wool moist/wet when using.
I hate hearing that steel wool thing.
It appears on almost every one of these scuff mark threads.
It will put permanent swirls on new chrome. It's okay for removing rust from car bumpers, but not for your show chrome. I don't care how many "O's" or decimal points it has.
Don't ask me how I know, but I got receipts for the replacement parts.
