2 inches? So, if I replace them with 4 inch risers, am I only really adding two inches because the oem's are already 2 inches? Wondering how much I can go before I'd have to replace lines and hoses.

Adding up to 3" should not be a problem. I know it was not on my 05. Unbolt your bars and raise them up and see how much slack you have. You should be able to determine this with an extra pair of hands and a thick towel on your tank, just in case.
