I sold the BUSA. What a freakin' tough market it is... guy rolled up with CAYSH money. Still trying to decide about the Night Train. I found out that the Night Train insurance is actually cheaper than the Street Bob insurance and I thought that was weird. Well, done with crotch rockets though. The price of the insurance is the real turn off for me. Anyhow, just trying to decide if I should mod the hell out of the Street Bob or buy the NT. Anyone got some logic for me???
I really like the Night Train personally, and would have bought it had I not been so intimidated by its size. My Streetbob is my first motorcycle. But now having ridden my Uncles softtail, and my own dyna, I would choose a dyna everytime, UNLESS you plan on riding 2up regularly. You cant beat the small size big engine package. just my 2 cents though...
PLUS! coming from a BUSA it sure would be nice to punch out that motor and get some extra Vtwin power between your legs. think of the possibilities!!

NWFLAStreetBob: Keep the bob' man. There's so much you can do with it, and your probably going to take a huge hit on trading/selling it. Mod the heck out of it man. If you want that raked out, skinny front tire, throw a wide glide front end on it. The possibilities are limitless with these bikes. Throw a springer on the front!
I really like the train. I really like the bob. The bob has better handling and is a touch quicker. The train has about a bazillion aftermarket mods you can do for looks. To make a train look really good it becomes an unenjoyable bike with no lean angle or comfort(eye candy). The bob can be tricked out to perform as well as look killer(if your into the "outlaw" style of bob). IMHO keep the bob over spending on the train. Wonder why insurance is high. I have full coverage on my 05 dyna, no deductable and 4000 in aftermarket coverage. $192 for the full year. No uninsured motorist though.

Check out any 2007 and up Super Glide Custom you get more for your money than a Street Bob and i think they are about the same price !
Think in the long run the Bob will maybe keep more resale value...I see way more of them crusing around then I do the Nighttrains, which speaks to their popularity.
