Just doing my winter maintenance and decided that since the wife said she's never gonna ride with me that I'm going to a Solo seat and the passenger pegs have to go. I'm guessing that they make a dyna w/o passenger pegs and there's a HD part I can but to connect the belt guard too? (The belt guard's front attachment point is on the left side passenger peg)
I can fabricate up a bracket to do it but would rather just purchase an off the shelf HD part if there is one . . ..
Guys, I still have dreams of her riding on the back (even bought the mustang passenger pillion "just in case") so I think I'll hold onto the brackets. This is the first HD that I've actually "owned" outright and I'm planning on keeping it for a very long time . . .so who knows what might happen in the future.
Neither my wife nor my girlfriend want to ever ride. So I too took off both footpegs and footpeg brackets. Just buy the Harley bracket for the belt guard mount. It's inexpensive. When removing the left side bracket from the swingarm, use as thin of a socket as possible as the drive belt will be in the way.
