Good look'in Bike! You made a smart decision installing the engine guard bar. Mine has saved my paint several times when you would least expect it, like backing off a trailer. Is that the stock exhaust?
Congrats Molly! The Street Bob is a great choice as I'm sure you've figured out. I saw the color at the dealership the other day out in the sun and it definitely POPS! Ride safe.
The first time I saw an SB in that color I jokingly called it "Purple Rain," but you know what? I like it more every time I see it. It's certainly a refresh change from the black-on-black scheme that everyone, including me, gets.
Hi Molly, we've "met" on the ladies forum. I have to say, every time I hear a price like what you got, I cry little. Prices dropped quite a bit on the Street Bobs since I bought my '08 plus deals weren't being made like they are right now. Ah well, I love my bike and that's what counts. They ARE great bikes!! Ride safe and welconme to the forum.
What? *I* bought my own bike. I worked my tail off to finish my geology degree and get myself in a position where I could afford something like this.
My dad is involved because it is his fault I wanted a Harley.
My apologies I got confused by your post
I am in the same position than you. I've been dreaming about a Harley since I'm a kid but couldn't afford one...I'm waiting to improve my finances before getting one myself...

Didn't mean to sound snippy. It is just that in addition to being a bike I've been wanting, this is also sort of a symbol of all that I went through to go back to school and change careers.
