Default 07 Dyna TC 96

Do you suppose that an 06 TC88 with SEII slip-ons, SE air filter, and race download comes close to the output of the new stock 07s?

Well,... since the bore of the TC88 and TC96 is the same I would be willing to bet that there isnt going to be alot of difference in actual HP but they should have a lil more torq. I decided to get one of the 98in kits from the guys at www.gmrperformance.com . I spoke with them a few days ago and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Matter of fact, I'm thinking of installing the kit myself since its a bolt on kit with no boring required, so there is just a limited amount of "professional tools" , required for the install. They offer great tech support and advise for the do-it-yourselfer. And I consider myself above average mechanically inclined with autos so with one of the manuels I think it should be straight foward enough. Best of all,... with the kit and heads that I plan on installing they should give me numbers in the following HP 105, Tq 115.

Let me know how that goes jbear. I'm thinking along the same lines.

As for the 96 motor, that should mean to get 110 all ya gotta do is the jugs.

Probably beats it actually. But after an 07 TC96 does those same mods you'll be back down again.

Mud,

Yep,... when I talked with the guy at gmr performance they stated that all you are replacing is your pistons, jugs, and heads and cam. If you check out their website,... they have several Dyno charts posted of their various kits in certain setups. The guy was pretty cool, and they will pretty much custom make a kit for the way that you ride. I told them that I wanted a setup that focused more on torque than just the horsepower, and he was able to give me some good suggestions, and they have already got some good maps for the PCIII and SERT to go with their mods as well. I held off ordering mine right now since all he had in stock right now were black heads, but after thinking about it. I decided that when I order mine I'm gonna get the jugs in black as well as the heads in black. It will give it a pretty unique look I think. So,... now I think im gonna try talking my financial backer into letting me get the kit in a few weeks or so,... when we get her Cruise outta the way,.......LOL

Mud,

Well,... Check out their website and they have some package prices but they can also build you a package that will get you in around $2,000 or under and thats with the heads, cams, jugs and pistons and everything,... So in the end their 98" kit is cheaper than the 95" H-D kit and it will outperform it big time.
