hommes, all I know how to do is buy a decent camera and push the little button.
I have no idea what the aperture setting was for these pix.
Maybe, if I have time I'll read the manual and try your suggestions.

I assume you're referencing San Pedro Ave and Fox Tech High School.
if so, no. I do have a couple pix in my Profile Album from that location.
The location yesterday is 5-6 blox north on San Pedro.

terrorizing the streets here for the last 50 years.

warrior, I built the seat. came out pretty good to my eye and my butt.
tank was built for my own amusement.
copied the theme for tank and fender from the machine pictured below.
Took these pix last year. Tommy built this machine 40 some odd years ago.
He wrecked and ruined the tank on one side, so he beat the other side in ... for balance...

I gotta disagree with the other posters...
that background is distracting and confusing and doesn't do a thing to enhance a great looking bike.
The background should be just that...a background...
and support the object of interest (the bike) and not compete with it.
If that background absolutely had to be used then I think it would look better
if there was more distance between the wall and the bike
and then drop the aperture of the lens down to f/4 or f/2.8
to make the background soft and out of focus.
The bike would then pop off the background rather than meld into it.
I gotta disagree with the other posters...

You must be on the same weather channel as me,
the last week and a half have been either rain, fog, misting, 100%humidity/dewpoint
that if its not doing all the above, it sure feels like it.
Guess maybe we'll make up for the last 18month drought this winter.
But heh, it can snow for all I care, bikes up on the jack getting front end work done, heheh.

-6 Degrees here with 9 inches of snow on the ground. Definitely not riding weather. Love your bike. Tank reminds me of the Triumphs back in the 50's.

so mud when you gonna give us a review on the new rear suspension.....have you looked into racetech suspension. i referred a member here to my buddies at racetech for r&d on the xr1200 sporty and it came out killer...look up rhinowerx for his review and pics on rhinowerx.com

Beautiful 65F today bobber, so I got it out in the Hills this afternoon.
These are the Sport Tune, so I do feel the road,
in a positive way.
Sweepers, at high speeds or otherwise,
rubber stays on the ground really well.
The Ricors performance gave me plenty of confidence.
I'll get it out again tomorrow, hopefully,
and search out some more challenging roads.

May even give the machine a once over with a soapy rag first.
