I second the Wide Glide. I've rode the Super Glide Custom and I like the feeling of the Wide Glide better. You sit down into it...You don't feel like you're sitting on top of the bike like you do on the Super Glide Custom.
I have an '09 FXDC. I really love what they did with the '10s with the lower *** end and the black motor. I never really liked the looks of the Wide Glide in the pictures, but I love it when i see it live...that thing rikes looooow too! Tough choice, but if moneys not a factor, I'd go for the wide glide.
I think they both look great. I just got a 10 FXDC because I love chrome and the C is $1 500 cheaper too. I would have spent anther $600 or so on the W just on chrome to get it up to the C. So the W just don't work for me. Now, if you don't care one way or anther about how much chrome it has or the $ you spend, then you can just go with your gut feelings. I think you will love ether one...Good luck.

I currently don't have either bike, but have been on both and agree with the above statement
I am not sure if it's the rake of the Wide Glide, but I am sure that one ride is all it took for me to know that is "the one" for me
Thanks for all the advise and welcomed opinions. I can't wait to ride both these bikes later this week.
TogFish, do you have forward controls on your SG Custom?
Jason628, if you don't mind me asking how tall are you? Actually this question applies to all '10 Wide Glide owners.
Greetings,
I'm 5'10" and it fits me fine as it sits. The longest ride so far has been 610 miles round trip and I was comfortable the whole time with the factory seat and peg setup.
