Question help with riser and bar combo

Here is the situation I could use some help with.
About a month ago I replaced my bars with flanders drag bars and staight 4" risers. The bike looks good, I love the way it feels and handles.

on rides 100 miles or more my upper back between my shoulders and base of my neck is worn out. I love the way the bikes feels and handles, but I can't be limiting my self this way. Interestingly enough, my lower back feels great with these bars.

I am thinking of trying some pullback risers to help with this. Do ya'll think this would make a big difference or should I just throw my stock 06 superglide bars and risers back on.

Ya'll know how it is, to make the bars work I have bought the bars, risers, grips and longer stem mirrors to see better. I am not sure if I should keep spending money to make the bars work.

Have you tried just simply adjusting the bars back a bit so they're closer to you?

The bars only have a slight bend with no rise (they are almost straight) If I rotate them it only changes the angle of my wrists.
Thank you for the response

Maybe you just need to get used to the new riding position. Either that or try going taller....or get a set that moves you forward just a bit.

Get these risers for $40:

They should work with all the stuff you've already got. They have a ridge on the bottom that fits into the Duece riser...just cuts off with a hacksaw.

I also added a 2" spacer on the bottom for a little bit more help in the reach...not shwon in pic. I have the 2" tank lift also and nothing hits.

pullback will bring the bars closer, height will bring close and stand you up taller. Might just want to sit on the bike and see what you prefer, your hands the same height and close or taller and closer, or just taller.

I started with 5.5 inch straight risers and drag bars and it worked good but wasn't just right. I changes to 6.5 with pullback and it made a world of difference. Only modification to the original wires and brake lines was to straighten the brake line out.
