i need some help either finding a stock or aftermarket headlight to fit a fxst front end that ill be putting on my lowrider soon. ive searched a few times but didnt have much luck. any opinions?
yeah i tried ebay but almost everything on there says "harley or custom application", and i would rather have one that uses the original plug rather than switching to a two wire light that i have to wire in. but im not ruling that option out as i just had to rewire my rear signals and i have an electrical background. but i want to know what kind of aftermarket options were out there when considering a good quality bottom mount headlight.
ive seen this one on the forum but how many of yall have tried this headlight and how does it perform compared to the stock headlight? also is it a durable light that has a good lense that wont haze over?
Dude, you're putting Way too much thought into this. Motorcycle headlights are still fairly primitive and in the end, whatever looks best to you is what you should run. If you like that headlight, Get it man!
It really is fairly easy to do. i bought a fat boy style 7" headlight and the actual plug in that is stock on my street bob fit the headlight. So it was basically a plug-n-play thing. Good luck in what you choose.

I went with a 08 Fatbob 7" headlight. I like the look and it lights the road MUCH better. You can fit almost anything on an FXST. Just pick what you like and bolt it on.
