I am looking for anything that will work as saddle bags supports for the 06 Street Bob and I can not find anything, online, at HD ect. so I am hoping that someone here has done this or made one or ????? I have heard of EasyBrackets and such but what I am looking for are the simple tube like ones.
I appreciate any help you all have for me on this.
Thanks again for your time.
there was (is),a guy on e-bay that will make them to specs.i forget his name,he powder coats them too. might do a search 4 them. i got some from him when i had my vulcan. they fit nice .
Have you tried them? I was told cause of the redesigned frame, the '05 supports would not work? If someone has got them to work, please let me know. I'm in desparate need of them right now.
Hey man, I have spent months, plus an earlier posting in this forum, looking for bag supports. I could find only one manufacturer that addresses the 2006 dynas and that support placed my bags at an angle, five inches from the the fender. They were unacceptable. I have resolved to either design and make my own supports or more likely go with easy or ghost brackets and relocate rear turn signals.
For now I have a luggage rack and another forum member, blue rose, turned me onto a cheap, leather, round carry all; $10 a the dollar store, and I am using this. By the way the carry all is pretty neat with mutiple outside pockets for quick access.
I don't understand. I have only one bolt with the exception of the shock bolt and the thru fender bolt for the turn signals. The problem with the dynas is the tendency for the bag to rub against the brake rotor, hurting the bag or againsy the belt cover.
