Do these use the factory wires in any way? Are there load balancers, etc? Just wondering why you need a separate module to run as running lights and signals when the stock front signals are already wired to do that?
Yes, these are pricey but I just couldn't find an alternative that "I" wanted to go with. Looked at the the mirror/sig combos and almost went that way but wasn't all that excited about the black mirror/sig options available.
The reason I needed to get the little "eclipse module" as it's called from Custom Dynamics was because these lights are 2-wire and the original uses a 3-wire system. I could have wired them as turn signal only without the $25 module. I liked the idea of having them as running lights as well.
The Bubs Lakester 2:1 is working good. No complaints. It brings a smile to my face when I'm riding and really get on it. Loud when you want it and "fairly" quiet otherwise.
Rounder - Thanks. More to come... btw, I can't tell whether your rear pulley has a black cover installed on it, you bought it black or PC'd it black. I don't like how some of them are black all except a naked "ring" around the outer edge.
