I want to get a fork bag to put on my 2010 Wide Glide for when I have my shield off. Need something just big enough for my cap and glasses. Looks like an 11 or 12 inch would be the best width. I saw one from Willie and Max that is 12x 5 1/2 x 4 called the Revolution bag and wondered if anyone was using it. There wasn't many reviews but the few there were seemed pretty good. I read where one person using a River Road brand said his fender came up and hit it which scratched the fender. I'm just trying to avoid making a mistake and was hoping someone might make a recommendation. Thanks!
I have this one from harley davidson for $60 bucks i really like it cause it has the velcro flap cover and a zipper under it quick easy and fast to get into even when stopped in traffic. My uncle has one of the buckle ones and honestly its a pain to get into i can be into mine have my phone and smoking a cig by the time he gets into his. and gets it closed back up.
I got this @ Wal-mart for only $25 in the ATV section. This pic is of the back. The front view with the 2 buckles you can see in my signature picture. Can't tell you how well it will "weather" & hold up, but for that price I will take my chances.

hey does that thing look like it could be attached to a sissy bar?
Another thing I found that works surprisingly well is the eastsport skater backpack from wal mart. It was two large straps (as seen in the pic) that can tighten it down and they work great for attaching it to a sissy bar.
-and only 14 bucks at walmart.

I was looking for a fork bag for my tools and was told that if you put anything heavy in them they could dent your fender. Ended up having a local guy make me a bag that I mounted under the voltage regulator. Gets pretty dirty, but keeps everything inside clean.

+1. I removed the stupid leather pieces hanging off of it and mounted mine with velcro strips from the bottom of my risers at the top of the bag to the upper forks at the bottom of the bag, just above the headlight. Tightened the velcro enough to keep it from rubbing my headlight. Plenty of room for some small tools, keys, cell phone, do-rag, even a light pair of gloves or clear lense glasses and a baseball style cap if folded just right. Got mine on sale though - 40% off I think. I don't buy anything that says HD on it anymore at regular price except the bike itself.
