I have this one from harley davidson for $60 bucks i really like it cause it has the velcro flap cover and a zipper under it quick easy and fast to get into even when stopped in traffic. My uncle has one of the buckle ones and honestly its a pain to get into i can be into mine have my phone and smoking a cig by the time he gets into his. and gets it closed back up.
Same on I have attached to my shield., minus the leather thongs.....lol
Buckels are too much hassle and the zipper with velcro on the flap makes it very easy to get into when on the road.
I got this @ Wal-mart for only $25 in the ATV section. This pic is of the back. The front view with the 2 buckles you can see in my signature picture. Can't tell you how well it will "weather" & hold up, but for that price I will take my chances.
Cool. How did you attach it to the fender strut? My (just bought it) 07 Street Bob only has one bolt.
hey does that thing look like it could be attached to a sissy bar?
Yes it could, the two small vertical areas on the back of the bag that I marked with arrows are straps that come out and are adjustable. This thing could mount to forks, handlebars, lower frame, sissy bar, wherever.
Another thing I found that works surprisingly well is the eastsport skater backpack from wal mart. It was two large straps (as seen in the pic) that can tighten it down and they work great for attaching it to a sissy bar.
-and only 14 bucks at walmart.
NEVER MIND. I tried to use it today and it does not work very well. disregard
I've got the Willie and Max Ranger tool bag mounted on the fork cross brace. It sits low enough that it doesn't hit the light and high enough so that it doesn't smack the fender. It's dimensions are 12 x 5 1/2 x 2 1/2. The one you're looking at is 1 1/2" deeper and, to me, that just looks way too big hanging off the front of the bike. You might like the looks of a tool bag this large up front. I don't... just sayin'.
Willie and Max products, in general, are good quality and will last.
BTW... the sissy bar bag you see in my sig pic (not W & M) only gets mounted for extended trips.
