Anybody use a fork bag on their Road King, if so what size of bag did you get? I am assuming it attatches to the horizontal bar under the headlight. I was worried it might drag on my front fender. Any probs?
I kinda wondered about that and then I saw mchaconwith his post about having to sell to send his kid to school. He's got an awesome looking King and I like the look of the bag. Felt to bad for him to ask about the fork bag.
Yeah, guess he's a bit of a jam. Too bad.
I've got two friends that hung their gremlin bells under there, and both ended up with dents in their fender, couldn't believe it. The way he has the bag mounted I wouldn't trust it, but maybe he's getting away with it... might ask him anyway, maybe it clears.
I believe it was MChacon who had a good looking bag under his headlight and mentioned that he had it loaded with tools (duh!) and it dented the fender when he hit a hard bump.He wasn't too happy about it either.[:@]
The Pod by Kuryakyn does looks pretty good for carrying some small stuff, but I am also looking for someplace tocarry my tools (other than the saddlebag) ... sounds like a Fork Bag may not be a solution for that ...
