TOMMAY where did you get the AF COVER if I may ask?
Got it at the Harley dealer,it's called a nostalgic cover or some such crap, about 50 bucks with the foam seal that goes inside it. On ebay thers some co. selling what looks like the same thing for about 25 bucks. I had an old Panhead cover on for a while, much smaller, but I think it was restricting the air flow a lot so I switched it out.
How many inches did you you raise your tank and how hard was it?
I'm thinking about doing mine
That's three inches,2.5 would probably be better, kinda stresses the wiring harness stretching that far in the front. Not too hard,I was replacing my front turn sigs and while I had everything apart I went ahead and built the tank lift from aluminum. Got all the materials from Home Depot, except for the gas line and vent line.
There's another thread just started by Rudedog around some where that's got all the info in it.
So far they haven't said anything, but that's the factory fender,

Since the motor company has copied your style,
I do not believe you will be getting any flak.
Ha,bout time, that 06 stock fender looks like something that oughta go on a dirt bike, doesn't even follow the curvature of the tire. Ya reckon I should sue them for stealing my idea.
bike looks good I love the fact we can change our bikes looks ever so slightly to fit our present perdicament
you say that solo saddle is a c&c seat? I really like it... how does it ride?

Rides pretty good, just gettin' broke in. I'd like it better if was a little narrower on the sides and just a little wider at the back. Ok for around town, don't think I'll be taking any road trips on it.
