I have found that riding around US 264 to be a great ride, especially around
Engelhard. Matter of fact, anywhere on the coast is a great ride. Justin, you
ever get up around Elizabeth City? I recommend that area.
Me being in the mountains, it takes a while to get to the coast. My wife and
I will ride between 1100 to 1175 miles in three days in the Eastern part of the
state a couple times a year. We never do any beach rallys, just keep to
ourselves. I also recommend NC 12 to the Lighthouse of Hatteras if you
haven't done it.
