I wasn't sure i would like them but i like them a lot...I must say they are a bit noisy but i haven't had a really quiet tire on the bike yet...At one point or another in the tire 's life it was noisy...I have a radio and now also wear a FF helmet so it's even less noticeable...My main reason was mileage...The FLHTC is heavier and eats tires up...Especially in the mountain twisty roads...Like i said 4k miles and barely a sign of wear...I will probably put them on again.

I read an article on tire date codes awhile back, and it was discussing how there are many problems with old tires being sold as new. I dont remember the numbers but the amount of accidents caused by these old tires was significant, as was the amount of these tires being sold daily as new for cars,trucks and motorcycles.
Just like everything else, if they sit to long at distributors they get sold on to DISCOUNT sellers, then resold as New, some of the tires found at these discounters are over 10 years old.
Just got me thinking so I thought I would pass it on.
