Default Fuel Injection Control Modules...

ok I'm looking into getting one for my 04' wide glide, but there are so many to choose from! I know everyone says power commander, but what about zipper's thundermax? or daytona twin tec? cobra? accel SLM is a new one too. I'd appreciate hearing everyones experiences with what they have. would help making a decision.

I've been thinking about getting another woman. I am leaning towards a blonde with blue eyes this time, but wonder what you guys think would be best.

I'll get as many varying opinions to my question as you will to yours. Do some research, including on this forum. There is a vast amount of info and opinion available.

I have the PC-III and like it. It works well and is simple.

Do you want simple or the best tune, not one system is for everyone, you will find happy customers for any.

I use the TTS Tuning kit and it works, easily got a great tune with it and was able to tune outs a surge and exhaust popping with just a little sweat equity. Its not as simple as an EFI module to use but there is no PITA install and provides a better tune. I don't know if the 04 has O2 sensors but I've seen posted over on HD tech and other EFI forums were many older bike owners go through the effort of welding in O2 bungs just so they can use the tuning kit.

Do some checking here for a more broader view. The only thing different between the dyna and other models is there is very little spare room for add ons.

Otherwise a good red head, a few freckles... perhaps. Usually lower maintenance and they appreciate the attention more than most other models :-)

A DFO works well for me...Good throttle response and good gas mileage. I couldn't beat it for 100 bucks.

Question

Another dumb question. I just bought my 2010 FXDC and plan to leave it stock, exhaust and intake and so far I am very happy with the performance.

Is there any reason I should consider putting any kind of controller on my bike?

The TTS can be run on a pre 06/07 bike but you will not get all the benefits unless you h ave the 02 bungs welded in and install them as they are an integral part of the self tuning portion of the device/software.
