EZ it is then... another thing, how far do the bolts stick out inside and on the outside of the fender? In my case I had to run the fender struts bolts inside out so just the head bolts stick out on the inside, that was the only case I could run a 150 on my bike.
So now I know what bracket to buy I now realize that I will face a problem when installing the brackets. The deals is that I running a 150 tire on an mod fender and I have to run the bolts inside out because of the small clearance inside the fender. This means that the bolt that comes with the kit (or any other bolt) will have the nut on the outside meaning that this bolt will hit the back of the saddlebag mount.
So what can I do with this problem? I know for sure that a similar problem has been avoided by you guys and you can help me with this.
Chig...look into T-nuts for the clearance issue inside the fender. It'll solve your issue of having the bolt from the inside out as well and you should be fine with setting up the ez's the correct way. That is compliments of 8541hog. He posted something about t-nuts a few weeks ago and I just happened to remember.
After a quick google, looks like they're available at lowes and I'm sure home depot has them too.
Ghost/Edge brackets for me as they are the original ones and have slightly more angle to ensure bottom of bags don't foul anything. Great product and no fugly saddlebag brackets when running bare
