Just found out this evening, through some deceptive questions, that my 07 wide glide is in the back, in a crate. My stealer is waiting to sell the last two 06 bikes on the floor before they will put mine together. My salesman tried to tell me that they haven't gotten any 07's in, then when I proved him a liar, he spilled the beans. Why should I have to wait for them to sell their 06's. I told him we could do the deal "out back", but he just said he would call me when they could start putting it together. It' a bi%#h having to wait.[&o][][:'(][:@]
Wonder if thats what my dealer is doing. Was told that a blue 07 se ultra would be shipping on 24th and it had my name on it. Today they called and informed me that the bike was black and orange, did I still want it. Bet they have it in back, opened up the box and realized the mistake. Oh well, black was my first choice and they said it was shipping today or tomorrow. Maybe they will call me Monday to pick it up.
My dealer is doing the same, went in today for the 1000 mile service, and the parts guy was showing me the 07's. OOPS! I wasn't supposed to tell anyone that they were in yet.[X(]
My dealer's service dept. is just as sh*tty. The sales folks seemed okay though. Still the "techs" lack of ability was all it took for me to go elsewhere. I would tell him to give me my $ back, but do what you gotta do.
Edddy you getting rid of your bke or adding to the collection. I knda like the black and orange.
good luck on that.
I think the dealers are obligated to sell their entire inventory by a certain time frame or they will lose the amount of bkes alloted for the next year. I would go to a different dealer myself.

Look at the glass as "half full"... You've now got proof that your dealer can't be totally trusted before you gave 'em all your money. It's one thing to hold the new models back while waiting to sell what's remaining on the floor. But there is no excuse to lie to a customer about it.
