I doubt thats really the case with my dealer....Actually think the dealer was just confused about the color they were receiving......but anything is possible.....my dealer has always treated me so well I am willing to look past a lot....btw just adding to the stable in a way.....getting two ultras for one of my businesses, my accountant says I can write them off if we use them for business travel. So actually I am hunting one more good used ultra. I am going to keep the SE ultra and my fatboy for myself.

Edddy you getting rid of your bke or adding to the collection. I knda like the black and orange.
good luck on that.
I think the dealers are obligated to sell their entire inventory by a certain time frame or they will lose the amount of bkes alloted for the next year. I would go to a different dealer myself.

Wonder if thats what my dealer is doing. Was told that a blue 07 se ultra would be shipping on 24th and it had my name on it. Today they called and informed me that the bike was black and orange, did I still want it. Bet they have it in back, opened up the box and realized the mistake. Oh well, black was my first choice and they said it was shipping today or tomorrow. Maybe they will call me Monday to pick it up.
Nice write off man!
Good luck, glad to see you keepin the Fat Boy. Shes a beauty.

Most dealers also have a bank financing their floor inventory and the dealer needs to sell it before he incurrs extra interest/penalties on that line of credit. Selling the newly financed 07's in front of the 60-90 day old 06's is bad financial management.
Ridiculous! Don't put out the 07s to compete with the 06s on the sales floor, but geez . . if you SELL and 07, there is no excuse not to deliver as early as possible. This one utterly stumps me.
They rolled out the 07's today in Memphis at noon. Had about 8 or 9 06's still on the floor. Had $500 off the 06 Sportsters and $1k off the other 06 models.
