Question Backplate gasket - reuse or replace?

I purchased a teardrop shaped S.E. high flow air kit last year but now I am replacing it with a round one. Can I reuse the backplate gasket (part #29583-01) or should I replace it? It looks like a thick, durable gasket.

gasket may tear or peel apart when you take off the old air cleaner. Probably a good idea to just buy a new gasket.

I would only replace if it was torn.
I reuse alot of gaskets and o-rings

I replaced it and kept the old one as a spare - in my parts bin.
