Inner Tube Size?

Inner Tube Size?
I need a new inner tube for my DWG but can't figure out what size it is I need to order. I am putting on a Metz ME880 170/60-17 but can't find any tubes that say specifically they fit that size tire. Is there a chart somewhere that I can look at to determine this? I have the owners manual, service manual and parts book but none of them tell me what size tube to buy. I looked on the Harley parts site and all it says is a 17", #40575-05. Thanks all.

Sorry, I meant 40502-06. That still only gives me a Harley part number and I was trying to avoid ordering from the stealer. That being said, the only tube I have found so far that actually lists the tire size I am using is a Metz 17-18" Type A for $1 less than the stealer. Stealer here I come I guess.

That tube fits the stock Dunlop 591 160/70-17 tire. The Metz has a 60 side profile as opposed to a 70, so it is just a shade smaller. I also think that tube was the same one the local dealer used when they installed my 180 rear tire. I understand wanting to stay away from the dealer. The place you are ordering the Metz tire from should have a tube to fit their tire...If they don't, I personally would not order the tire from them. If it is a internet or mail order house, how do you deal with the date code problem ? Just be careful.
