new sportster 48. (yes I know this is a dyna forum)
Dyna Glide ModelsSuper Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, Dyna Glide Convertible, Super Glide T-Sport, Dyna Glide Police, Dyna Switchback, Low Rider, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Wide Glide.
Mirrors mount under the bars ... seems more useful on Apes than on drag bars, but it also appears to force a different mounting for the turn signals (couldn't quite tell how they were mounted and didn't take time to study it) ....
Sprung seat is a MoCo accessory add-on ... stock doesn't have it ....
All the black on the motor/trans and the fork lowers is probably how they can justify the higher pricing point ....
Also thought it interesting that the fenders are black even on the other colored models shown (grey and orange) ....
Over all, pretty cool ... not going to run out and buy one, but I can definitely see how it would appeal to those who are thinking of buying the Iron (1200cc vice 883) or the Nightster ....

I would think that the wide front tire (and possibly the gas tank?) might be 'take-off' or OEM parts that a lot of Dyna guys (and existing Sportster owners) might be able to adapt to their bikes easier than other options ... might stimulate some parts sales from those inclined to mod their existing bikes ....
The pictures and vid look pretty cool, the dealership my wife works at is supposed to get one in next week. I can't wait to see it in person, but the price is definitely a no-go.
I’m not personally crazy about it as a former Nightster owner….. I think it’s great that others do like it. More power to ya.
It just seems to me like a bike concept came up with to close the gap in price between Sportster and Dyna just that much more. With color, security, and freight and all that crap – you’re getting right up there with a Super Glide huh? Sorta smacks of trying to squeeze every dime out of the Nightster theme as possible.
