I laughed at your reply................Trusty Shellback, huh.I went across on the USS Aemerica in '83.Indian Ocean cruise.They had alot of "fun" with us.Next IO cruise it was my turn........................

im 5'11 260 i think u will be fine but u will need forwards,the mids cramped my legs really bad within 35 mins of riding good luck with your purchase.

Or maybe not. I'm 5'11" also but 50#s lighter, and I prefer the mids. Longest trip on this particular bike is 3200 miles. For me, it's perfectly comfortable with the mid controls.

was that trip before you got the highway pegs?

Hey Dave, is that a t-sport windshield? I have been looking for a fairing to go on my 07 SG and that is what I am looking for.

Yes, the bike is an '01 T-Sport and that is the stock fairing and windshield.

Same as most others... you ll make this bike fit to your needs when you you get it. I am 5 11, 210 lbs and with a solo seat my short inseam works fine. No issues with weight either. But like others say spend time at a reputable dealer that will want to spend time with you and definitely take a good long test ride. A good dealer with have a demo line for you to test ride several models.
