Default Street Bob Handlebars

I have a 2007 Street Bob which I just purchased. The problem is my right hand goes to sleep, gets numb within just a very few minutes of riding. I`m looking at another set of bars that will bring my hands in closer to me, I am 5`6" and find myself leaning forward somewhat and thought that the new angle might help. Any ideas out there?

Had the same problem with the mini-apes.

Try moving the bar back a few inches and see if that helps.

Try this. It worked for me.

Loosen the 4 allen screws that clamp the bar.

Be careful as the bar is heavy and may fall on your tank.

Rotate the bar back a few inches and re-tighten the clamp. This will lower your hands.

I also put on ISO grips but lowering my hand position did the trick for me.

Definitely play with the position of the bars for awhile before tossing them all together. I had the same problem and switched to Flanders flat track bars which worked for me but may not work for you, they're pretty wide. You got allot of choices out there from the cheapest, take off Superglide buck horns to Harley's street slammers to assorted T bars,Drag bars, pull back risers etc.I'd try the free stuff first.

Yeah, bud, I had the exact same issue....sometimes in just 20 minutes I would start to go numb, but recently it's gone away. I haven't experienced it in some time now. Hopefully I've somehow adjusted.
