Fill me in on where you bought the bike at, because I bought one in December ( they had a promo. for $ 1000. in acc. but It was't bought until afteer Xmas. I think you do very good and welcome to the Forum. By the way I live I St. Charles Parish.
Here is one pic of the bike, right after the 50 mile ride, including a few miles in a downpour! I am hooked![IMG][/IMG]http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/9311/leavingjaandbike010zu8.jpg
Well I had thought of doing that but after a little research didnt figure it would be an easy task. So what I decided to do it get a set of risers, bars and speedo housing off an 06 Sportster Custom. The stock Dyna speedo will fit in it and it will give the bike a lil better look,....in my opinion anyway. I also saw on here that another forum member had already done it and stated that he did need to get a longer brake cable, but the look will be well worth the extra $$$. I also got the part numbers for the parts needed and I can get the whole setup at Zanottis for $100 less than at my dealer.
jmbear, if you get it done, please post some close up pics or pm me. I already have a set of 2006 lowrider bars and risers, that's why I want to try to use that set-up. btw, I was browsing and found some items in the dennis kirk online catalogue, by drag Specialties. Dual flat guage mounts with indicator light holes. they are pricey, $191.00 and extra for the chrome guage cups ! I am calling them tommorrow.
