The Wide Glide and Softail dashes are very similar, but the tanks are not the same ... the mounting tabs on the Wide Glide are at the top of the frame tunnel, whereas the Softail tank mounting tabs are at the bottom front of the tank ....
Also, I believe the rear tank mounts may be different, as well ....
I am not sure how those differences translate to the dash mounting (or indeed if they do) ... although I often see "fitment" info that seems to imply parts for one model do not work with another model ...
While that may be 'true' ... my friend Mr Rick Miller, and I may have a different experience with certain FLST front ends which are not supposed to fit Dynas ....R/'Chop
You can always make a bracket to make it work if the Tank ain't curved differently. (had to do that when I put on a Crossbones dash on my Springer).
Like this--Attachment 92937--Only black.
pascoz28; I got a 71273-00a dash Black powder coated and light wiring still on it. Your welcome to it for $20 and shipping cost. If it fits the Tank I'm sure you can make a bracket to adapt it. (just not sure on the Tank fit after SURFOR Chop post, but hey it's cheap and you might know somebody else that could use it if it just don't fit).
Frogg, PM me your paypal address and a shipping cost and you got yourself a deal! I was wondering how a black console would look on my bike (2000 FXDWG in black with the burgandy striping and factory flames off the logo). I think it'd be tough lookin.

No problem I'll go either to the Post Office or UPS your chose.(just tell me which you prefer?) and will PM tomorrow.
Post office should be fine...and probably cheaper with their flat rate boxes. Let me know if you'd like a little extra for plenty 'o' packing material. Thanks again!
Nope, not a native...born and raised in Maine. Joined the Coast Guard in '87...stationed on a 378' ship out of Seattle after boot camp...then to VA, OH, Puerto Rico and then back to Seattle...Honorable Discharge in '97. Stayed in Seattle for awhile...recruited for a factory rep job in Yakima in '98...opened Hockey Oasis Pro Shop out front of Target next to Quiznos by the Mall in 2000...closed in '04 (friggin internet). Bunch of jobs from 04-06...joined Navy Seabee reserves in Dec. 05...hired on with BNSF Railway in Jan. 06...deployed to Iraq most of 06/07...back to RR until Dec. 09 when I got furloughed...now I work for the State at WorkSource on Kellogg. I'm the Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist which basically means I help disabled (and non-disabled) Veterans overcome any barriers to employment and then assist them in acquiring good permanent jobs. Barriers can be anything from a lack of computer knowledge (can't apply for jobs online) to being an offender (employers are funny about hiring felons) to being homeless (too many in this category).
There are a shitload of programs out there for Vets...no matter what the obstacle, I can overcome it. If you know any Vets that need work (or a better paying job), let me know!
You've been busy! I was born and in-bred right here. Nothing much exciting to tell about it. We have a ride planned for August if you're interested. We did it last year and will do it again. Here's some threads from the planning to the aftermath....
